What to expect

What to expect Sunday morning

Our Sunday morning worship is the centering point of our community’s life – the one moment during the week when we gather fully as a congregation

Sunday worship starts at 10:00 am

Dress is casual – whatever you are comfortable in.

The service takes place in the sanctuary.  Anyone with difficulty climbing stairs can access the area by using our lift found at the back door entrance.

Younger attendees stay for the opening portion of the service and at the appropriate time, the teachers of our youth church take them downstairs for more age-appropriate activities based on the same lectionary theme of the day.

Services include readings, prayers, songs, music and a message.  All the words for the hymns and responsive prayers are displayed on our projection screens.

For those who are able to support us financially, there is an offering taken up before the service ends.  As many of our congregation give through automatic bank withdrawals, this is a time to acknowledge our gratitude for all the gifts received.

Each week we gather for coffee/tea/juice and snacks after the service.  Part of worship is getting to know one another and be grateful for all who surround us.
